Helb Paybill Number: Helb disburses loans and scholarships to Kenyan students pursuing higher education in recognized institutions as well as recover loaned out funds to establish a revolving fund. Helb provides a simple and secure mobile platform for Helb loan repayments using the Helb Mpesa paybill number, Airtel money, Equity bank ATM and PesaPoint ATM.

Helb Mpesa Paybill Number – Using Mpesa (Safaricom) money transfer:

On the M-pesa menu:

•  Select Pay bill option
•  Enter HELB business number as 200800
• Enter your National ID number as your account number
• Enter amount you want to pay e.g. 3000
• Enter your secret PIN number
• Confirm transaction and send o  Wait for SMS confirmation.

Helb Paybill Number – Using Airtel money transfer:

On the Airtel Money menu:

  Select Make payments
• Select Pay bill
• Select Other
• Enter business name  as HELB
• Enter Amount – e.g. 3000
• Enter your secret Pin number
• Confirm the transaction
• In the reference section, enter your National ID Number.
• You will instantly receive a confirmation via SMS from AIRTEL MONEY

Helb Paybill Number – Using Equity bank ATM:

On the ATM menu:

• Insert ATM card
• Key in your secret PIN number
• Go to ‘Pay bills’
• Select ‘HELB’
• Enter National ID number when prompted
• Enter amount
• You will get a slip indicating the ID and amount entered.

Helb Paybill Number – Using PesaPoint ATM:

On the ATM menu:

•  Insert ATM card in the card slot o Remove ATM card from the slot o Select language
•  Key in your secret PIN number
• Select “Pay Bill” button to proceed to the next screen
•  Key in the code shown for HELB option as 5006
•  Key in your HELB account number as your  National ID number and confirm
•  Key in your mobile no. (this will allow HELB to contact you if required)
• Key in the product you wish to pay for (undergraduate or postgraduate)
• Enter the amount you wish to pay for your loan
• The ATM will give you a receipt acknowledging payment for your HELB loan once the transaction is successfully completed.
