Breaking! GOR MAHIA Received Ksh30m To Let AZAM Win, Club Faces Ban

Breaking! GOR MAHIA Received Ksh30m To Let AZAM Win, Club Faces Ban

It is now emerging that there was a match fixing in yesterday’s clash between Gor Mahia of Kenya and AZAM of Tanzania during the CECAFA Kagame Cup Finals in the National Stadium Tanzania.
Sources have leaked day before the match, senior AZAM officials met top Gor Mahia officials in a Nairobi Hotel where they allegedly gave them an offer to concede the match.

AZAM is Tanzania’s richest club and it is often referred to as the Chelsea of TZ. All they want is pride and not money. The match came as Gor Mahia struggles to get itself out of its financial debacle.

There are incidences that left everyone especially the Kogalo fans with endless questions. For instance, Gor’s midfield maestro Khalid Aucho would have been red carded two times and seemed to deliberately commit red card offenses deliberately several times during the match.

Another reason to believe there was a match fixing is the manner in which the Kogalo goalie conceded very easy goals without showing any effort to block the baby shots.

White Men (Wazungu) Viciously Attack Njoki Chege For 'Racially' Discriminating Them

White Men (Wazungu) Viciously Attack Njoki Chege For 'Racially' Discriminating Them

Call her City Girl, call her controversial writer, call her whatever you wanna call her. One thing remains; her mother knows her as Njoki Chege. We all know how by this name.
Njoki Chege is a dreaded name as we speak. I mean, this lady has hit almost everyone when they least expect. When you thought you are safe, something for you is cooking someone in Nation Centre, a skyscraper intimidating other structures along Kimathi Street and Moi Avenue.
The Daily Nation columnist has courted controversy from the day she landed the job at one of the leading media houses in the country, airing her views openly at the expense of other people’s piece.
And over the weekend, as usual, Njoki unleashed yet another barrage of attack on white men and the Kenyan ladies they date.
Njoki warned Kenyan black ladies against dating white men (wazungus), giving a raft of reasons why should steer clear of the thought-to-be-rich Caucasian men.
Among the reasons she gave included those that a white always wants to date a black African girl because they want adventure and exploration with their sexual desires and not out of love and marriage.
She also warned that not all white men have money as most Kenyan girls believe. Some are very poor back in their countries and strive to save to come to Africa for adventure.
These and many others caused a major  standoff on social media, with many of those aggrieved by the attack responding angrily to Njoki’s article.
Majority of those who did this are wazungus and Kenyan ladies either married to wazungus or are dating wazungus.

Spencer

Not all white men are the same. A lot of us white men are descent. I have been married to a Kenyan lady for a year. We are happy together.
Yes there are bad whites just like bad Kenyan women that will use an american just to get a green card.

Susan Wangari

it all depends with the understanding of both parties personally i think we should not judge any mans character based on race but then again i have seen some black girls literally ignoring a black guy at the point of insulting him coz she saw a mzungu....i would say if they fall in love go for it if u were meant to be hurt it will happen anyway whether the guy is black or white... but thats just me

 martijn van Dongen

Let me guess........the poster of this topic failed to "get" a white man ? So now she is taking her own bitterness out on whoever might wanna read the product of a hateful mind. As it is clearly a result of her own judgement since no actual facts are being mentioned. I would even consider the writer as a true racist. If she does hates whites the way it seems to be then why doesnt she start to educate her black brothers on how to treat their sisters. As that is the main reason why african girls are interested in white men.........and i am proud to say that we whites do indeed know how to show respect to a woman , either black or white. Whites are broke ? Seriously ? I mean ..... you are not trying to make a fool of yourself ? So just for my information , if the average white man is broke , how can he afford a ticket ......... a hotel ........maybe even a resort and still be able to spend his mpesa on the girl he meets ? Ok next one .......we dont marry black girls ??? again ....seriously ? Dare me ........the day i set foot on kenyan soil, the first thing i love doing is marrying the girl i have been loving for quite some time .............. hey i be even willing to give up my easy and comfortable western life and live with my wife in Kenya. So again ...........sorry ........you are wrong again dear poster. We dont look for love in a black woman............true as color doesnt define love as love comes in different colors, to me........... a black woman is more able to give love then any other woman..........thats not even a sexual thing but a thing of the heart, as simple as that......but well maybe the only mzungu the writer has been dating has turned her down so now she is taking it out on every mzungu.........funny kinda girl if u ask me. Then the most ridiculous 4th point............slave drivers ? Like every white man has slave drivers as great grand parents ? Time to go back to school.......... when my great grandfather was born.....slavery was already declared illegal........maybe not in all countries but in mine certainly. Here is was made illegal in 1863..........the transatlantic slave trade was already illegal in 1814...........my great granddad was born in 1873..........so next time you wanna share your filth , pls make sure you are educated instead of making a total fool of yourself

bigfan

this article is hateful and downright discriminatory..there's no need to put down all white men just because of one..personally, I feel that this writer is disrespectful and should apologize..

Shaniez wendy

Well said martijn this writer is a frustrated woman or man either way. She dares write this article with no proof and mind this writer should know that Kenyan kisumu lady is not the one in that sexual act video and she is paid to be in that video and so she did it freely cos it's deep throat sex and so what Di you expect and before writer you rant like a fool why don't you investigate the story first and go to that site that this girl was in and you will see they are interviewed before they perform that sexual thing. All countries have good and bad people and it depends on preference on whom you like either white or black or asian Or Latino. Depends on whom you like and so quit with misleading people and get a life. What insolence with no facts. Jeeeezzzz......

Eveline Makena
Am married to white guy for 5 yrs now and am so happy,I don't Immagine my life without him he is a wonderful husband n a father..am sorry for the writer not all white men are the same ,whites knows how to respect their women whether black o white .LOVE AS NO COLOUR

Turkish troops hit by suicide bomber in Dogubayezit

Turkish troops hit by suicide bomber in Dogubayezit

Two Turkish security troops have been killed and 24 wounded in a suicide attack by Kurdish PKK militants, the regional governor's office says.

A tractor laden with explosives was driven at a military police station, reports by Turkish media say.

The attack happened near the town of Dogubayazit in Agri province, close to Turkey's border with Iran.

Since 24 July, Turkey has carried out hundreds of air raids on PKK bases on both sides of the Iraq-Turkey border.

The Turkish state news agency, Anadolu, said that the attack happened at around 03:00 local time (00:00 GMT).

It said that the tractor was carrying two tons of explosives that were detonated by a suicide bomber.

Images in the Turkish press showed a badly-damaged building with the roof destroyed.

The regional governor did not say how the PKK had been identified as the group behind the blast. The PKK has not commented.

AFP said it would be the first time the PKK was accused of deploying a suicide bomber during recent clashes.

Turkey says the group was behind a number of attacks in the last two weeks:

On Sunday, a Turkish soldier was killed and four others hurt when a mine exploded under their convoy in the south-east of the country
On Friday, five people died when a police station and a railway line were targeted
On Thursday, three troops died in the southern Sirnak province after gunmen opened fire on their convoy

Turkey's official news agency says about 260 Kurdish fighters have been killed in strikes in northern Iraq and Turkey since 24 July. It has also targeted positions held by the Islamic State group.

Further Turkish air raids were reported early on Saturday, this time in the Rawanduz area east of Erbil, capital of Iraq's Kurdish region.

At least six people were killed and several more wounded in the town of Zarkel, local officials said. They reportedly included at least two women.

Turkey considers both the PKK and IS terrorist organisations.

The PKK was established in 1978 and called for an independent state within Turkey - a country that now has 15m Kurds.

In 1984, the group began an armed struggle.

Since then, more than 40,000 people have been killed and hundreds of thousands displaced, but in 2012, the government and PKK began peace talks and the following year a ceasefire was agreed.

Killing of Cecil pressures United States to protect African lion

Killing of Cecil pressures United States to protect African lion

(Reuters) - The killing of Cecil the lion by a U.S. hunter in Zimbabwe has turned up the pressure on Washington to extend legal protection to the African lion by declaring it an endangered species, but some hunting advocates said that would lead to more regulations that could ultimately harm the big cats.

The United States has the world's most powerful animal protection law, the Endangered Species Act, which has been extended by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to many non-U.S. species including the African elephant and cheetah.

Adding the African lion to the U.S. list would not prohibit trophy hunting but it would require a permit from the service to import lions or their body parts to the United States.

Such a permit would only be issued if the agency determined that importing a lion or parts of it would not be harmful to the survival of the species, said Tanya Sanerib, a senior attorney for the Center for Biological Diversity, which advocates for species protection worldwide.

"Sport hunting has been identified as a threat to the continued existence of the species," said Sanerib, whose group has backed listing the African lion as endangered.

In 2014, the Fish and Wildlife Service proposed listing the African lion as threatened under the U.S. Endangered Species Act. [ID:nL1N10A2DB]

The top Democrat on the U.S. House of Representatives Natural Resources committee, Raúl Grijalva, and 49 other House Democrats sent a letter on Thursday to the service asking it to finalize listing the lion as endangered.

Apart from the Endangered Species Act, hunters are barred under America's Lacey Act from importing wildlife or parts of animals that have been illegally killed, transported or sold. That law applies to about 5,600 animal species covered under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species, or CITES.

The African lion is protected under CITES, which requires exporters of the animal to get a permit from its home country. The lion or its parts cannot be imported into the United States unless CITES requirements are met.

Supporters of regulated hunting have said it should not be discouraged because it generates revenue for African countries, which can be used on conservation and to discourage poaching.

Last week, the cargo division of South Africa's national carrier, SAA, lifted an embargo that had been in place since April on the transport of legally acquired hunting trophies of African lion and elephant, rhinoceros and tiger.

In acknowledging the action, South Africa's Minister of Environmental Affairs Edna Molewa said in a statement from the Department of Environmental Affairs, "It should be remembered that hundreds of legally acquired wildlife specimens, such as hunting trophies, pass through our main ports of entry and exit monthly without incident. Penalizing an entire industry for the illegal actions of the few is not in the country’s best interests.“

She added that the "sustainable utilization of species, including legal hunting, had historically played a significant role in the growth of populations of species, including lion, elephant and rhino."

The department said "legal, well-regulated hunting in South Africa was a source of much needed foreign exchange, job creation, and community development."

Eleven African countries issue lion hunting permits, according to the Professional Hunters Association.

CONSERVATION DEBATE AT A BOIL

The debate over species conservation has been brought to a boil by the killing of 13-year-old Cecil the lion, a rare black-maned lion that ruled over a pride in Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, by Minneapolis dentist and trophy hunter Walter Palmer. [ID:nL5N10B1ZH]

Palmer has admitted killing the lion, and said through a publicist earlier this week that he thought the hunt was legal.

Zimbabwe has said that killing Cecil was unlawful, and a local hunter who assisted Palmer has been charged with failing to prevent the lion's death. Cecil was a tourist attraction and one of Africa's most renowned lions.

Zimbabwe's environment minister said on Friday that Palmer was a "foreign poacher" who paid for an illegal hunt and should be extradited to Zimbabwe to face justice.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said on Friday that a representative for Palmer had contacted the agency, which is investigating the killing of Cecil.

In October 2014, the service proposed listing the African lion as threatened under the Endangered Species Act in response to a citizen petition. The service is now reviewing public comment on that proposal and expects to issue a final rule by late 2015 or early next year.

Conservation groups are asking the government to list the lion without delay.

"It is a small step but an essential one. If American big game hunters can no longer bring back their trophies to hang in the den, maybe they will find another hobby," said Anne Bellamy, president of Great Safaris, a no-kill tour company.

Some pro-hunting groups have argued that more regulations on trophy hunting may be difficult to meet, causing hunting to decrease along with animal populations.

John Jackson, president of Conservation Force, a Louisiana-based group that supports hunting, said he expects the lion to be added to the Endangered Species list as threatened with special regulations that will be "almost impossible" for hunters to satisfy.

"Most lion habitat in Africa, including Zimbabwe, is in hunting areas. If you eliminate hunting, you eliminate most lions, as well as anti-poaching revenue," he said. "We fully expect that it will lead to the loss of half the lions in Africa."

Proponents of stronger protection for lions also refer to numbers.

Born Free USA, which describes itself as a global wildlife charity, has urged the United States and European Union to ban trophy imports and lion hunting. It cites estimates suggesting there are barely more than 30,000 lions across Africa and "localized or regionalized extinctions in the next decade are a real possibility."

Adam Roberts, chief executive of Born Free Foundation and Born Free USA, said in a statement, "The figures don't stack up. The value to Africa's economy from wildlife tourism vastly outpaces any sum accrued from hunting.

"Trophy hunting is an elitist activity practiced by very wealthy people, with the income benefiting a small number of stakeholders. The future is in conserving Africa's wildlife, not destroying it."

Osama bin Laden family killed

Family members of Osama Bin Laden were killed in a private jet crash in Hampshire on Friday, the Saudi Arabian embassy in the UK has said.

It came down near Blackbushe Airport, close to the Surrey border, killing the pilot and all three passengers.

In a statement, the Saudi ambassador to the UK, Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Saud, offered condolences to the Bin Laden family.

The embassy said it was in contact with the British crash investigators.
The statement said: “His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Saud… has paid his condolences to the family and relatives of Mohammed bin Laden at Blackbushe airport in Britain for the great loss they have suffered as a result of the crash of the plane that was carrying the family.”

The embassy added that it was working with the British authorities to ensure the speedy handover of the bodies for funerals and burials in Saudi Arabia.
The plane – an Embraer Phenom 300 – is reported to have belonged to an aviation firm owned by the Saudi-based family of the former al-Qaeda leader.

Eyewitnesses at the scene said there had been a “ball of flames” and “several explosions”.
The pilot and all three passengers were killed but no-one on the ground was injured, Hampshire Police said.

Ksh 60 Billion needed to revive Kenya Airways

Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich says preliminary indications show the government will need almost 500 to 600 million US dollars (Ksh 60 Billion) to revive National Carrier Kenya Airways that is currently facing financial crisis, due to poor performance.

This comes after the Kenya Airways management announced its losses amounting to over 29 billion shillings.

Speaking at a Mombasa hotel on Friday, the CS said already a private consultancy firm has been hired to investigate the financial crisis at Kenya Airways and prepare a report within 60 days.

Rotich said the exact amount which will be spent to revive the airline services, will be determined by the report that will be tabled by the consultancy firm.

Rotich noted that changes in the management of the airline will also depend on the report.

Kenya Airways reported a pre-tax full year loss of Ksh 29.7 billion for the year ended March 31st, 2015.

KQ further posted a Ksh 25.7 billion full year loss after tax, this being the biggest loss to be posted by a listed company in Kenya.

The airline Managing Director Mbuvi Ngunze attributed the loss to the slowdown in the tourism industry and the high costs of fuel.

The Airline made a loss of 4.8 billion shillings last year.

The airline has also attributed the loss to low ticket sales leading to cancellation of flights, flat revenue growth and increased overheads.

This has in turn cost the carrier more as they put up customers whose flights have been cancelled in hotels.

Chris Brown tired of devil’s control

Talented RnB star, Chris Brown, revealed he is tired of being controlled by the devil, and wants out.
In a recent Instagram post, the award-winning singer blamed the devil for trying to ruin his life, and claimed he heard God speak to him for the very first time in his life.

“When you are tired of the devil ruining your life and you hear God speak for the first time,” read his introductory part of post.
The singer went ahead to say people are always deceived by face value appearance of his life, yet if they dig deeper, they would find a ‘little boy looking for help.’

“What’s on the surface always looks like one big party but inside there is a little boy looking for help and guidance. People say, ‘Be a man’. Yeah, that’s right, but it doesn’t take away any pain you really go through.”
Chris went ahead to detail that what goes on in his life could make some people think the option of taking their own lives as an easier escape route.

“No one knows what I deal with on a day-to-day. The average man wouldn’t hesitate to blow his brains out, but that’s the cowards’ way out.”
Brown rebuked success gotten as a result of serving the devil; terming it short term and that he strives to have his heart always clean.

“Most won’t understand the genius and beauty in change and learning and the people who have devilish intentions will win in the short term. My soul will always be pure of heart,” he wrote.
The “Don’t Judge Me” hitmaker said the prime focus is his music career and his 13-month-old daughter, Royalty.

“I just wanna stay out the way and do music (sic), most importantly and great father. I don’t have any more patience for anything that will cause me to self destruct!”

Larry Madowo not taking that shit anymore

Larry Madowo, NTV's The Trend host has once again caused ripples on social media. Of late, he has been getting even with all those who have been criticizing Kenyan journalists. One thing I like about him is that he is always straight to the point.

A few days ago, he indirectly responded to Chris Kirubi, a business mogul in Kenya who owns Capital Fm and 51% of Centum among other investments. Chris Kirubi had claimed that some local journalists are half baked and they ask “pathetic” questions making them not get a chance(s) to interview big wigs.

Yesterday, Larry got into a heated exchange with one of his fans who claimed that the Microsoft CEO is in Kenya and yet Larry Madowo has not yet interviewed him. Here is what transpired.

Fans view:
"Even Larry Madowo hasn't tweeted anything about the Microsoft CEO
Satya Nadella being in Kenya to launch Windows 10, Kenyan media.SMH."

 Larry Madowo’s response:
"I'm interviewing him shortly. But you're obviously better at my job than I am, so go on"

Brenda Wairimu looks even hotter after Giving Birth

Gaining weight is just one of the 'negative' things that accompany pregnancy, since expectant women are mostly round and shapeless, assuming the shape of Big Ted. At this point, most of them are not as attractive as they previously were.

To gain your sexy figure 8 is also a challenge after delivery. Julius Owino, commonly known as Juliani, a Kenyan gospel rapper is certainly lucky to have Brenda Wairimu who is still cute, sexy and beautiful even after she gave Juliani a bouncing baby girl.

She is hotter than before. Of late she has not been active in social media but she recently posted her photos and this mama is a force to reckon with. Beyonce and Rihanna have nothing on her. She is absolutely amazing, I won’t comment further, I know Team Mafisi are now on the lookout.

From Rags to Riches: Pastor James Ng'ang'a when he was poor

From Rags to Riches: Pastor James Ng'ang'a when he was poor  Pastor James Ng'ang'a has been on the news lately for all the wrong reasons. From his wife exposing him and being involved in various scandals in his church, you would bet that he will still make news for some time.

Just yesterday, an old man came out and said that Pastor Ng’ang’a killed his son back in 2012 in a very similar way, but just like last week’s accident, when the issue went to court, a different man took the stand claiming to have been the driver.

But apart from all that, pastor Ng'ang'a did not just get rich overnight, he worked hard before he got to where he is today. But as they sometimes say money is the root of all evils. Back then he seemed like a humble guy who tried to make ends meet in an honest way but not until something showed him how generous desperate people can be.

Check him out when he was still a hustler.

Why you should never buy bottled water from the streets

Why you should never buy bottled water from the streets

They say in Nairobi, you have to a real hustler to make it, and this is no different with the street- hustler vendors of the city. They would do anything to make money even if it means selling you poo and urine. A Nairobi lady was recently caught on camera filling water bottles with dirty water to sell to street consumers.

The lady, who was unaware of the guy taking the video, was also washing the bottles in dirty, brown looking water. You will probably never buy street bottled water after watching this video.
